Beckhoff KL3444 Bus Terminal Bus Terminal 4-channel analog input terminal 0-20 mA, Technology: single-ended, Resolution: 12 bit, 4x 2-wire system General Description The KL3444 and KL3448 analog input terminals process signals in the range between 0 and 20 mA. The current is digitised to a resolution of 12 bits and is transmitted, in an electrically isolated form, to the higher-level automation device. In the KL3444 Bus Terminal, the four inputs are 2-wire versions and have a common ground potential. The reference ground of the inputs is the internal ground. The KL3448 variant combines eight channels in one housing and is particularly suitable for space-saving installation in control cabinets. The use of single conductor connection technology enables the connection of multi-channel sensor technology with minimum space requirements. The reference ground for all inputs is the 0 V power contact. In both Bus Terminals the power contacts are connected through. Overload is detected in both variants. The terminal status is relayed to the controller via the K-bus. The LEDs indicate the data exchange with the Bus Coupler as well as overload or wire breakage.
