Module; 0.5 to 5 Sec.; ON-Delay; Blade & socket connector Overview Multi-Beam Photoelectric 3 & 4 Wire Logic Modules, ON/OFF & ON Delay Timing Functions Banner MULTI-BEAM® sensors are compact modular self contained photoelectric switches. Each MULT-BEAM® solution consists of 3 components — Scanner Block, Power Block, and Logic Module. The Scanner Block contains the complete modulated photoelectric amplifier as well as the emitter and receiver optoelements. It also contains the sensing optics and the housing for the other two modules. The Power Block provides the interface between the scanner and the external circuit. It contains a power supply for the MULTI-BEAM® plus a switching device to interface the circuit to the controller. The Logic Module (not required for opposed mode emitters) interconnects the power block and scanner block both electrically and mechanically. It provides the desired timing logic function (if any), plus the ability to program the output for either light or dark response. Create a Photoelectric Based on Your Application Requirements Step 1: Choose a Sensor Block for the Required Sensing Mode Step 2: Choose a Power Block for the Required Sensor Power (AC or DC) and Output Step 3: Choose a Logic Module (Not Required for Opposed Mode Emitters) Step 4: Plug in the Power and Logic Components into the Sensor Block Step 5: Select Additional Options (Fiber Optic Cables, Mounting Brackets) as Needed The Logic Module interconnects the power block and scanner block using a unique blade-socket connector concept. It also provides the Light/Dark operate function (except in the LM1) and the timing functions, all of which are fully adjustable. The logic module interconnects the power block and scanner block both electrically and mechanically using a unique blade-and-socket connector concept
