It is available both in 2-pole or3-poleconfigurations, allowing both differential and common mode protection. The control windows (no/red indication)andthecontact allowbothalocalanda remote monitoring of the status of the plug-in car- tridges,warning the opera- tor about the need to promptly replace the car- tridges themselves. In installation withoutexter- nal LPS (Lightning Protec- tion System) or where the distance between the LPS elements and the solar panel frames is >50cm,DSF can be used in the DC side of photovoltaic generation plants, and can be installed on a DIN-rail in every com- mercially available distribu- tion box.
