The FLIR CM72's narrow jaws make it ideal for making measurements in crowded panels and electrical cabinets; if the jaws won't fit, the CM72 is also compatible with FLIR's optional flexible clamp sensors, allowing you to bend the sensor around where you need to measure (please see below for more information on these optional sensors). This professional AC clamp meter can be used to measure both AC/DC voltage to 600V, AC current to 600A, frequency to 60.00kHz, resistance to 6000Ω and also measures continuity, capacitance and diode. The CM72 is a true RMS clamp meter - when testing AC current/voltage, it'll maintain its accuracy and compensate for potentially irregular waveforms in whatever you're testing. There's even more to this clamp meter than just standard measurement capabilities - the FLIR CM72 also includes a MIN/MAX mode, HOLD function, automatic power off facility, a bright LCD display (with backlight) and even includes dual bright high-powered LED worklights for use in darkened applications. Expandable Range to 3000A AC with FlexClamp Accessories The abilities of the FLIR CM72 can be expanded greatly by combining the clamp together with one of FLIR's FlexClamp adaptors (sold separately). These flexible clamps allow you to bend the clamp area around even the trickiest environments and also expand the measurement range of the CM72 up to 3000A AC!
