EMAX EATJS80S1P, Industrial Random Orbital Air Jitterbug Sander, 6 CFM, 1/4" Inlet EMAX Heavy Duty Random Orbital Jitterbug Air Sander, EATJS80S1P, is perfect for all you sanding needs. With a powerful 8,000 rpm no load speed this tool can not only tackle tough automotive and woodworking projects in the home, shop, garage, or job-site it offers the power, performance and portability features needed for industrial & commercial use. EMAX features a high strength solid SCM21 steel bolstered by a tough nickel chromium molybdenum surface coating material on tool body and base plate for rugged wear resistance. In order to allow the user to get into tight working applications easily & effectively with even one hand use, EMAX offers a compact low profile body design with a low center of gravity and an ergonomically contoured palm grip for a comfortable non-slip feel, maximum grip strength and reliable control. A smooth palm throttle lever allows for easy variable speed control and an automatic release feature with positive stop action to prevent accidental starts for optimum safety. A built-in air regulator valve pre-set to control air pressure assuring optimum tool life. Inside, EMAX powers the EATJS80S1P with a 5-blade rotor that generates 8000 rpm of free speed that stands up to continuous duty demand. Heavy-duty harmonically balanced PTI bearings and hardened steel alloy cylinders deliver optimum torque and ensure extended tool life. Effective anti-dust protection system insulates the air motor and bearings from sanding residue and eliminates contamination and a rear deflecting exhaust port routes air exhaust away from the job. For user comfort, EMAX incorporates vibration-absorbing rubber posts and ½" thick rubber sanding pad to minimize vibration together with an internal noise diffusing system that reduces noise levels and sonic fatigue to user. Constant orbit action provides fine swirl-free finishes and yields high quality finishing in all automotive and woodworking applications from sanding on paint, fiberglass, even metal; to smoothing fiberglass, wood, and body filler.
