ANALOG DEVICES
The ADSP-21469-EZBRD is an ADI's evaluation system for SHARC processors which are based on a 32bit super Harvard architecture that includes a unique memory architecture comprised of two large on-chip, dual-ported sram blocks coupled with a sophisticated I/O processor, which gives a SHARC processor the bandwidth for sustained high-speed computations. The evaluation board is designed to be used in conjunction with the visualDSP++ development environment to test the capabilities of the ADSP-21469 SHARC processors. The visualDSP++ development environment aids advanced application code development and debug. Access to the ADSP-21469 processor from a personal computer (PC) is achieved through a USB port or an external JTAG emulator. The USB interface of the standalone debug agent gives unrestricted access to the ADSP-21469 processor and evaluation board’s peripherals. The ADSP-21469 EZ-board provides example programs to demonstrate the capabilities of the product. Analog Devices ADSP-21469 SHARC processor DDR2 consist of micron's MT47H64M16HR-3 – 128MB (64M x 16 bits) Parallel flash memory of Numonyx's M29W320EB – 4MB (4M x 8 bits) SPI flash memory consist of Numonyx's M25P16 – 16Mb Analog Devices AD1939 audio codec Eight DAC outputs for four channels of stereo output Four ADC inputs for two channels of stereo input 3.5mm headphone jack with volume control Digital audio interface S/PDIF JTAG ICE 14-pin header The EZ-Board evaluation system contains ESD (electrostatic discharge) sensitive devices.
