TEXAS INSTRUMENTS
The TMDSEVM6424 is an C6424 Evaluation Module with a comprehensive, low cost solution allowing developers to quickly evaluate, develop, and prototype systems based on the powerful C6424 DSPs. The C6424 EVM target board features embedded JTAG support for standalone operation. The C6424 EVM is a PCI based or standalone development platform that enables users to evaluate and develop applications for the TI C6424 processor family. The EVM comes with a full complement of on board devices that suit a wide variety of application environments. The C6424 on the EVM interfaces to on-board peripherals through integrated device interfaces and a 16bit wide EMIF bus. The DDR2 memory is connected to its own dedicated 32bit wide bus. The EMIF bus is jumper selectable to be connected to the Flash, SRAM, NAND, and daughter card expansion connectors which are used for add on boards. An on-board AIC33 codec allows the DSP to transmit and receive analog audio signals.
