RECOM POWER
The RPA20-2412SAW/N from Recom Power is a RPA20-AW series 20W single output DC to DC converter with negative control function. This high power density converter has 4:1 wide input voltage range and industry standard 1”x1” case size. Despite its small size, the RPA20-AW converter is fully specified device with high efficiency, no minimum load, 1600VDC isolation, tight regulation and low ripple/noise figures. This single output DC to DC converter offers a ±10% trim range. The outputs are also fully protected against overtemperature, short circuits, overcurrent and overvoltage. The converter finds many uses in railway applications where board space is at a premium. It has Pi-type internal input filter. Input voltage range from 9VDC to 36VDC (24VDC nominal input voltage) Output voltage of 12VDC and output current of 1670mA Input current of 960mA Efficiency of 88% and maximum capacitive load of 1000μF Line regulation of ±0.1% typical and ±0.2% maximum (low line to high line) Load regulation of ±0.1% Start-up time of 8ms (power-up, CTRL ON/OFF) and internal operating frequency of 550KHz Ripple and noise of 50mVp-p and output accuracy of ±0.1% (typical), ±2.0% (maximum) Minimum isolation resistance of 10Mohm and typical isolation capacitance of 1100pF Maximum case temperature of 105°C An input fuse is required if the mains supply is not overcurrent protected. Recommended fuse is 3A slow blow type.
