The AFBR-57J5APZ is a 3.072/2.4576Gbps digital diagnostic SFP compatible Optical Transceiver supports high speed serial links over multimode optical fibre at signalling rates up to 3.7Gbps for wireless base station applications involving the OBSAI or CPRI protocols. The transceiver is compliant with small form pluggable (SFP) multi-source agreements INF- 8074 and SFF-8472 for mechanical and electrical specifications and FOCIS/IEC specifications for optical duplex LC connectors. Using the 2-wire serial interface the transceiver provides real time temperature, supply voltage, laser bias current, laser average output power and received input power. The digital diagnostic interface also adds the ability to disable the transmitter and monitor the status of transmitter fault and receiver loss of signal.
