DC1383A-A QuikEval demonstration board for LTC2451 ultra tiny, 16bit analog to digital converter with an I2C interface. It includes an integrated oscillator that does not require any external components. It uses a delta sigma modulator as a converter core and provides single cycle settling time for multiplexed applications. The LTC2451 includes a proprietary input sampling scheme that reduces the average input sampling current several orders of magnitude lower than conventional delta sigma converters. Following a single conversion, the LTC2451 can automatically enter sleep mode and reduce its power. The board may be connected directly to the target application's analog signals while using the DC590 USB Serial Controller board and supplied software to measure performance. After evaluating with software, the digital signals can be connected to the end application's processor/controller for development of the serial interface.
