NEWPORT ELECTRONICS
The PLATINUM™ Series family of microprocessor-based PID controllers offer unparalleled flexibility in process measurement. Each unit allows the user to select the input type from 9 thermocouple types (J, K, T, E, R, S, B, C, and N), Pt RTDs (100, 500, or 1000 Ω, with either 385, 392, or 3916 curve), thermistors (2250 Ω, 5K Ω, and 10K Ω), DC voltage, or DC current. Meter is offered with 2-6 programmable outputs that can be set up as on/off, PID or heat/ cool control modes. PID autotune control and fuzzy logic adaptive tuning mode allows the PID algorithm to be continuously optimized. Free configuration software is offered for device setup, Dashboard web server is available for data logging, charting and alarm notification. The Platinum full function Modbus interface provides connectivity to a wide range of Factory Automation tools. A free Labview© driver is available.
