STMICROELECTRONICS
EVAL6230QR is a L6230Q three phase brushless DC motor driver demonstration board. The L6230Q is a DMOS fully integrated three phase motor driver with overcurrent protection, optimised for FOC applications thanks to the independent current sensing. The device integrates six DMOS power transistors with CMOS and bipolar circuits on the same chip. Realised in BCD multipower technology, the L6230Q features a non dissipative overcurrent protection on the high side power MOSFETs and thermal shutdown. An uncommitted comparator with open drain output for optional function is available. Board implements a typical application which can be used as a reference design to drive three phase brushless DC motors with currents up to 1A DC.
