Techne IFB-52 12L Industrial Fluidized Sand Bath
Safe, efficient, and cost-effective cleaning of tooling, components, and parts Removes plastics, paints, epoxy, rubber, adhesives, grease, lubricants, and oils Fast cleaning minimizes production equipment down-time No tool damage or abrasion in cleaning Dry, inert, nontoxic aluminum oxide is a safer alternative than dangerous chemicals or solvents 1. Industrial Sand Baths are ideal for heat treatment, cleaning, temperature calibrations, and reactive analysis (exothermic and endothermic reactions). They remove most polymers from tooling, including PVC, PET, PTFE, and PEEK with out abrasion to the tool or mold. Easily set temperature for fast heat-ups to 600°C (1112°F) with integral PID controller and standard type K thermocouple. Temperature stability of ±1.0°C at 450°C. Baskets available for small parts. 2. Air Pump. Baths require compressed house air flow or an inert gas such as nitrogen and argon. Baths have a front panel flowmeter to adjust airflow and includes settings on optimal flow per temperature. Order an air pump (below), or for a compressed air line order a filter and regulator (below). NOTE: When cleaning of parts, baths should be operated in a hood or well-ventalated area. An extraction collar and fans are available to ensure proper removal of fumes. What's Included : 165 lb bag of sand and power cord.
