RS-232 card and cable

11 selectable and sharable IRQ levels 16550 UART DB9 male connector Maximum baud rate is 120K. RS-422/485 card features long-distance serial links—up to 4000 feet. Use these PCMCIA serial and parallel cards to expand your portable computer applications. Parallel cards interface printers and plotters, portable data acquisition devices, and external tape drives and hard disks. RS-232 cards interface high speed modems, printers, scanners, plotters, and RS-232 networks. Use the RS-422/485 cards to expand for factory automation, process control, and multi-drop data collection (up to 32 on RS-485). Cards are powered by the computer—no external power is required. “Hot swapping” feature lets you insert or remove your card while the computer is powered. All PCMCIA data acquisition cards include an enabler and client driver.
