Increase throughput of your electrophoresis system — run up to four gels or four blots simultaneously in one unit! Versatile unit accepts slab gels or Western blots Designed for use with fast and efficient precast gels or traditional handcasting Use with precast gels (see Related Product ad) to increase your throughput These multipurpose gel systems are designed for use with either precast gels or traditional handcast gels to suit your needs. Sturdy design has no loose parts to keep track of and allows for easy loading and removal of your samples. Hinged-core design allows you to effortlessly extract the cassettes without removing the core from the tank—for quick sample processing and immediate reuse of buffers for your next set of samples. The color-coded anode and cathode safety features help with identification. Tank design includes a stir bar corral and hinged core.Run two 10 x 10 cm gels or two blots simultaneously under identical temperature-controlled buffer conditions. Unit uses less than 1 liter of buffer for either application and does not require special transfer modules. System includes: lower buffer reservoir, core that accommodates two gels or two blotting cassettes, two freezer blocks, two blotting cassettes with sponge pads, safety cover with attached power leads, and adapter plate for running one gel at a time. Casting kit adds on: two sets of glass plates, two combs, two set spacers, two gel wrap gaskets, and casting clamps.
