Economic integration into mixing, dosing, water treatment, and osmosis systems Use with aggressive media For use with liquids of less than 1% solids In-line flow controllers and sensors offer numerous options for many types of media. Choose from brass, stainless steel, or PVC in-line fittings combined with their respective transmitter, sensor, switch, or controller. PVC fittings offer the lowest cost option and should be used with non-caustic general applications, such as water. Brass is suitable for neutral-fluid systems in more aggressive installations, and stainless steel offers the same benefits but with broader chemical compatibility. Type 8023 4-20mA Compact Output Module The compact output module, linked via a cable plug socket to the 8030 flow sensor, allows user to mass-install flow transmitters at a significant cost reduction. The type 8023 module converts the 8030’s pulse output to a simple two wire 4-20mA signal. The module consists of two components, the programmer and transmitter. After attaching the transmitter to a type 8030 sensor, the user programs each transmitter component using the same program for any number of meters. Data input into each transmitter component includes K-factor and flow span (i.e. gallons/minute), which is saved via an EEPROM chip. Because a single component is used to program an unlimited number of transmitter components, the user achieves major cost savings when upgrading Type 8030 sensors to flow transmitters. Type 8030 Digital Flow Transmitter The paddle-wheel flow sensor for continuous flow measurement is especially designed for use in neutral, slightly aggressive, solid free liquids. The sensor is made up of a compact fitting (S030) and an electronic module (SE30) and is quickly and easily connected together by a quarter-turn. The fitting system ensures simple installation of the sensors into all pipes from 1/2” to 1 1/2”. The sensor produces frequency signal (pulse or sinus) proportional to the flow rate, which can easily be transmitted and processed by a remote transmitter/indicator such as the type 8023 output module. Type 8032 Rotor Flow Transmitter/Switch The flow sensor incorporates a switch, transmitter, and local flow indicator all in one device and can measures flow rates from 1 f/s to 30 f/s. Sensor features a programmable set point which can be set either locally with the three push buttons on the display, or externally from a PLC/computer over a 4-20mA loop. The In-line technique offers easy maintenance and change-out of electrical sensor without disruption of process flow. Equipped with a large LCD display, the unit indicates the actual process value digitally and simultaneously as an analog bar graph for quick reference. Standard features include the TEACH-IN function and Test Simulation function which allows setup without actually operating the flow system. These features reduce cost, time to install, and calibration of the system. The supply voltage is 12 to 30 VDC. The unit meets EN50081-1, 50082-2 and 61010-2 EMI standards. Type 8035 Digital Flow Batch Controller The 8035 digital flow batch controller offers the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry continuous and highly accurate measurements, and is designed for neutral and aggressive solid-free liquids. With its unique quarter-turn lock-fitting system and sizes ranging from 1/2 to 2 inches, the batch meter features a local flow display with seven pre-programmable batch points, two totalizers, overrun correction plus two dosing modes (manual or remote).
