Precisely measure flow rates as low as 50 µL/min Accuracy of ±1% full-scale Calibrated for water High-pressure operation — up to 500 psig Pressure drop of no more than 0.075 psid These rugged IP67-rated thermal mass flowmeters precisely measure flow rates of virtually any fluid. Repeatable results are achieved by utilizing a unique thermal mass flow sensor, designed for use with liquid applications. Flowmeters utilize thermal sensing technology. Flow passes through a small tube which has two coils, one downstream from the other. As fluid passes through the sensing tube, a small temperature rise is introduced through the sensing element. Smart electronics detect the amount of current needed to maintain a constant temperature differential, and this is proportional to flow rate. The unique system insures that the set zero remains stable. The sensor is extremely repeatable over a wide range of ambient and liquid temperatures, and a linearized analog output signal directly corresponds to flow rate. Stainless steel tube fittings provide easy connection and connect to all stainless steel wetted parts. This allows the flowmeter to be used with acids, solvents, and other corrosive chemicals. A maximum pressure rating of 500 psig allows for installation in higher-pressure systems. The design and electronic technology used in these flowmeters result in a compact size and allows the unit to be integrated into many existing OEM systems. Units come with a six-foot four-wire pigtail cable for connection to a power supply and signal output, or you can order an optional DC power adapter separately below.
