CP-Sil 24 CB silica bonded phase column, 30 m long, 0.25 mm ID

Low bleed/MS columns improve sensitivity and increase instrument performance. Even when operated at high temperatures, these fused silica columns have nearly zero bleed. Low bleed columns also offer the benefits of reduced equipment downtime due to detector cleaning, longer column life, higher accuracy, and better column-to-column reproducibility. A superior level of column inertness produces clear, sharp peaks as well as minimizing sample adsorption and decomposition. Even trace levels of sample produce accurate and reproducible results. Sil 5 CB columns are typically used to analyze alcohols, hydrocarbons, esters, free fatty acids, glycols, ketones, PAHs, pesticides, and sulfur compounds. Sil 8 CB columns are typically used to analyze amines, bile acids, halogenated compounds, herbicides, organic acids, PCBs, phenols, steroids, and sugars. Sil 24 CB columns are typically used to analyze antidepressants, herbicides, and pesticides. EZ-GRIP TM Column Cage EZ-GRIP column cages come standard with all Varian columns. The cage mounts tubing to an analytical column forming a rugged, convenient system. A maximum of fifteen meters of tubing can be wound onto the cage. For easy transport, a flat metal handle spans the cage diameter. Each cage includes two brackets which attach single ferrule column connectors to a precolumn, transfer line, or second analytical column. Tabs hold the column inlet and outlet ends during installation and storage. A column scale printed on the top of each handle helps you accurately determine the proper column length to insert into the injector and detector. For dual column configurations, the EZ-GRIP handle can attach to a 5" cage wound with a second length of tubing. The nesting configuration saves preparation time and space; the entire unit takes up as much room as a single column.
