Our level control instrumentation is perfect for use with our medium and large industrial tanks and storage vessels Level Sensors Float Switches Optic Switches Ultrasonic Transmitter/Controllers Setup is fast and simple with push-button calibration and LCD display Offered in three measurement ranges up to 10 m, with 2" dia transducer 6-segment LCD display indicates level in inch or centimeter values 7.6 cm minimum beam width for applications with restricted space PC/ABS enclosure rated NEMA 4X with rugged PVDF transducer Fail-safe intelligence with diagnostic feedback for easy troubleshooting Single-Point Control Common application: Keep tank from overflowing or running dry Compatible sensor types: Float or optic How it works: Each time the liquid reaches a critical level, the sensor turns on a pump or opens a valve to prevent the tank fromoverflowing/running dry. Dual-Point Control Common application: Keep tank filled between two critical points Compatible sensor types: Same as for single-point control How it works: Install sensors at two critical points. If liquid falls below the lower sensor, the detector activates a pump until liquid reaches the upper sensor. Continuous-Level Control Common application: Control level at all points and times, possibly activating a pump, valve, or alarm. Compatible sensor types: Ultrasonic How it works: Continuous-level sensors have a continuous analog output that is proportional to the level at all times. Level may be recorded with an external device. Leak Detection Common application: Detect leak in a pipe, possibly activating a pump, valve, or alarm. Compatible sensor types: Optic How it works: Install one or more sensors around a container or pipe. If the sensor detects liquid, it activates alarms or pump systems.EchoSpan™, a general-purpose two-wire ultrasonic transmitter, provides noncontact level measurement up to 32 ft or 10 m, and is ideally suited for challenging ultrapure, corrosive or waste liquids. Push-button calibrated, the transmitter is broadly selected for atmospheric bulk storage, day tank and waste sump applications. Media examples include wastewater and sodium hydroxide.
