Inverted design offers extra working distance—examine live cultures in larger vessels and microtitration plates Long Working Distance (LWD), phase, and brightfield objectives provide the versatility needed for biological, biotech, and research applications Observe live cultures, specimens, and reactions in all types of culture vessels. The working distance of this inverted microscope is ample for larger culture vessels with or without the 0.25 N.A. condenser attached. The fixed stage features a scratch-resistant acrylic window so you can identify the objective in use below. The backward-facing nosepiece holds three centerable objectives, leaving a fourth aperture open. Above the stage, the pre-centered lamp with an aspheric collector, diffuser, and filter holder sheds light on the specimen. The binocular head rests in the optical tube to position the eyepoint well above the bench. The tube contains relay optics with brightfield and phase contrast illumination modes. Adjust the interpupillary distance for a comfortable fit. Ergonomic coarse and fine focus controls sit in low, coaxial positions. The inverted microscope comes with dust cover, green filter with slip-in mount, spare bulb and fuse, operating manual, and 6-ft power cord.
