Cole-Parmer Servodyne high-torque, low-speed mixer head; 3-180 rpm, 115 VAC
These versatile mixer heads feature TENV, permanent magnet DC motors with permanently lubricated ball bearing construction. A precision optical shaft encoder relays the exact motor rotation speed data to the electronic mixer controller. Choose from four mixer heads depending on your required speed range and torque requirements. The high-torque, low-speed models have a JACOBS®-type precision chuck that accepts mixing shafts up to 3/8" in diameter. The high-speed, low-torque models include an adjustable, through-shaft precision hand-tightened collet; accepts 3/8" dia mixing shafts. This design lets you quickly position the mixing propeller at any depth without moving the mixer head and minimizes shaft “wobble” that occurs at higher speeds or with longer shafts. All mixer heads include an adjustable-tilt mounting assembly—permits rotation of mixer head from 0 to 30°> for proper positioning of shaft and propeller. Heads measure 11-1/2"H x 3-5/8" dia. All Servodyne Mixer Heads include: -- chuck/collet (depending on the model) -- 5"L x 1/2" dia mounting rod -- 6-ft multiconductor cable to connect to the controller Speed can be adjusted in increments of 1 rpm for models 50003-10 and -15; 10 rpm increments for all other models. Mixer speed will remain within ±0.2% of set speed throughout the entire torque range.
