Phase-shifting palm-size stroboscope Rechargeable battery provides hours of measurement use True, one-handed operation with ergonomic design Stroboscopes remotely measure the speed of moving machinery. You can measure RPMs from a safe distance and limit your risk. If you want to check the performance of difficult-to-reach equipment, use a stroboscope. Even better, many stroboscopes are able to slow down or freeze reciprocating or rotating machinery so you can visually inspect it. Inspections can save you time and expense by revealing when equipment is operating less efficiently. A stroboscope also can be useful for checking pump operation, propeller performance, gear movements, industrial fan speeds, oil leaks, and more. Tachometers or laser tachometers come in contact, noncontact, and dual-style formats. Those using laser beam detection enable precise RPM measurement. Some include contact adaptors for taking both contact and noncontact measurements. For hard-to-reach measurements or those in difficult areas, use a noncontact tachometer. Tachometers are microprocessor-based with limited memory capabilities. Combination meters (tachometer/stroboscopes) are also available for two-in-one meter features. These units can measure rpm and speed and conduct motion analysis. To harness the advantages of both meters—and expand your application usage—these dual-function models may be your solution.These compact, palm-size stroboscopes feature power through removable, rechargeable batteries. The padded handgrip offers comfortable, nonslip operation and control. The impact- and oil-resistant housing provides an ideal design for industrial applications. Flash adjustment knob and control buttons are ergonomically placed for comfort and convenient use. Display indicates fpm/rpm, internal or external control, low-battery indication, and phase shift operation. Other features include memory of last setting (fpm/rpm, phase shift, internal or external control), x2 and ÷2 flash rate adjustment. What's Included: battery, charger, and spare flash tube; TechStrobe kit also includes spare battery and carrying case.
