Documentation feature makes this test system ideal for use in product design and quality control C) Test Strands With Digital Monitor/Controller Use these variable-speed motorized test stands to perform a variety of ASTM tests. Convert stands for compression testing or tensile testing. Stands include a digital monitor/controller and an S-block load cell of your choice (order S-block load cell (-XX) separately on page 502 to complete your test stand catalog number below). Test stands include shunt-wound; DC gear motor drive with dynamic brake; motor controls with on/off and up/down switches, and high-speed return switch; digital crosshead speed reference meter; adjustable limit switch; adjustable rubber-surfaced feet; balance level; overforce protection; deflection scale (specify English or metric when ordering); and a 6-ft cord (110 VAC models include three-prong plug). Four strong anodized king posts stand 8" apart. Stands measure 12"W x 36"H x 11"D (5000-lb capacity models measure 42"H). Digital monitor/controller features ±0.1% accuracy and displays peak hold or continuous force readings in lb, kg, or N, as well as deflection readings in inches or millimeters. Monitor/controller automatically controls load cell high and low ranges for optimal resolution and is calibrated to ASTM standards and certified traceable to NIST.
