These CANNON glass capillary viscometers let you determine viscosities using ASTM testing methods. Each viscometer on this pages comes with a calibration certificate that includes the viscometer constant and formulas for calculating viscosities, plus instructions for the proper care and use of your viscometer. Cannon-Fenske Opaque Viscometers (reverse flow type). Use for dark Newtonian liquids; especially suited for liquids so dark in color that the meniscus cannot be seen in a Cannon-Fenske routine viscometer. Use to study the effects of various additives on lubricating and hydraulic oils. Also use to study shearing stress and shearing rate. Require a 12-mL sample volume.
