Note: Image may not be actual representation of item. This gauge provides a quick and easy way to test a wide range of pressure systems for leakage. Designed to measure and register water system pressure within a system, Ideal for recording the highest pressure reached to determine if a Pressure Reducing Valve (P.R.V.) is required as well as to trouble shoot problems caused by thermal expansion or pressure spikes. The 3/4" hose connection allows for direct connection to a water heater drain valve or hose bibb. Part numbers with the MP suffix come with a maximum pressure indicator pointer. The indicator pointer is ideal for recording the maximum system pressure reached. The maximum pressure indicator needle can be reset by turning the external knob counter clockwise. Often used in conjunction with rubber test caps offering a quick and easy way to fill and drain water used in testing cast iron or Schedule 40 plastic pipe often used in sewer, drain and waste water system.
