This acoustical insulated flexible air duct is assembled using a CPE core which is mechanically locked together by a corrosive resistant galvanized steel helix. The core is wrapped with thick fiberglass insulation and covered by a flame retardant, non toxic polyethylene vapour barrier. This duct is an excellent solution for most heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems. Pressure Rated: 10" w.g. positive 5" w.g. neg thru 16" dia. 1" w.g. neg. 18" & 20" dia. Rated Velocity: 5500 F.P.M. Core: Chlorinated Polyethylene (CPE) Fabric Vapour Barrier Permeance: .10 Perm A.S.T.M Procedure A Type: Connector Note: This product is compressed by the manufacturer and then packaged for shipping purposes. To reach the specified length, the product needs to be unpackaged and stretched.
