Liberty Pumps
281 Liberty Pumps are 1/2HP Automatic Submersible Sump/Effluent Pumps that have a wide-angle quick-disconnect float switch which are mercury-free and mechanically activated. This Liberty Pump features a unique one-piece cast iron housing which is thermally protected. Moreover, it contains a permanently lubricated motor and a factory-preset switch for the pump which is not adjustable. This should be used for De-watering, Sump and Effluent Applications. It is strongly recommended not to let the pump run dry. Features: Vortex style impeller permitting passage of solids up to 3/4" 416 stainless steel rotor shaft Permanently lubricated upper and lower ball bearing Carbon and ceramic mechanical face seal Epoxy powder coat finish All fasteners are corrosion-resistant stainless steel Stainless steel bottom screen which is easily removable Maximum fluid temperature: 140°F 1-1/2" Discharge
