Hitachi Inspire Series
Hitachi Inspire Series AISI 304 Stainless Steel Roller Chains offer excellent resistance to many forms of chemical attack and operates in temperatures from -250 to +750 degrees F. The material is generally non-magnetic however some magnetic permeability can be found due to the work hardening of the steel. This material is not spark proof. All AISI 304 Stainless Steel Roller Chains are passivated to maximize corrosion resistance. These chains are most often found in the food processing industry on drives and conveyors. Packaged chains are not pre-lubricated due to the types of applications they are commonly used in such as applications requiring food grade lubricants or others. These chains are supplied with a necessary connecting link to join the ends. Connecting links typically are available with spring clips or cotter pins for ease of assembly. Offset links (used to shorten or lengthen a chain strand by 1 pitch) are also available and sold separately.
