ABB ACS550 series AC Inverter for 5.5kW (7.5HP) 400V 3 Ph motor to 11.9A at high overload or 7.5kW (10HP) to 15.4A when Fan/Pump rated. Operates in VxF, Sensorless Vector or Full Closed-loop Flux Vector (when the optional Encoder Feedback card is fitted). Converts fixed frequency Three Phase 400V input to variable frequency 400V to control the speed of a standard AC induction motor. January 2016: Although the ACS550 is still current and available, the new ACS580 will eventually replace it and may be a more cost effective option. See linked products below for an ACS580 of equivalent rating. Size R2: 125mm Wide x 222mm Deep x 469mm High (incl. conduit/gland kit). IP21. Weight: 9kg. Overload: 150% x 60 seconds every 10 minutes (High Overload) Overload: 110% x 60 seconds every 10 minutes (Fan/Pump rated) Speed Control Range: 0-500Hz.
