FFSMC Float Switch (Submerged) FFSMC submerged-type float switches may be used in environments where wide and/or rapid fluctuations in ambient fluid temperature occur. The blue polyurethane-bodied model (361-1833) is suitable for use within sewers and industrial waste systems. The design incorporates a self-weighted cable end float switch for use within turbulent industrial fluids and fluids with suspended agglomerates, such as sewer water. The red-bodied model (361-1849) is suitable for use in with fuel oils, such as diesel.
