Si114x Infrared Multifunction Demo board The Si114x-MFB infrared multi-function board demonstrates the flexibility and configurability of the Si1141, Si1142, and Si1143 infrared proximity and ambient light sensors. The top side of the board has an Si1143 three irLED “thumbscroll” implementation which allows a user to swipe over the sensor array and navigate a 3 x 3mm array of blue LEDs. The reverse of the board features an Si1141 single irLED range-detection demonstration, capable of sensing distances up to 30cm for a hand or up to 100cm for a torso. The blue LED array on the long range demonstration progressively lights up as a detectable object moves closer to the sensor.
