Silicon Labs PCI Express Evaluation Board Silicon Labs offer a wide range of PCI Express evaluation boards for use with clock generators Si5211x and Si5214x and also for the PCIe clock buffer Si53154 and Si53159. The PCIe applications include consumer electronics, embedded computing, IP gateways, blade servers, storage and industrial systems. The clock generator evaluation kits Si52111-B4-EVB (7956736), Si52111-B6-EVB (7956739) and Si52112-B4-EVB (7956733), Si52112-B6-EVB (7956742) have one or two output PCIe clock generator boards. Which will Provide low jitter signal integrity measurements via a SMA connection. These boards require a 3.3V power supply to operate the performance of the PCI express clock.The Silabs Si52144 (4 port) and Si52147 (9 port) PCI express clock generators function on a 3.3V supply and can be controlled using SMBus signals. Intended for use with the Si52144 device they will need clock/crystal input of 25 MHz. Clock Generator Evaluation BoardSi52111-B4-EVB (7956736) and Si52112-B4-EVB (7956733) PCIe Gen 1 and Gen 2 compliantSi52111-B6-EVB (7956739); Si52112-B6-EVB (7956742); Si52144-EVB (7956745) and Si52147-EVB (7956749) are all PCI-Express Gen 1, Gen 2, and Gen 3 compliant ISO 9001, ISO 14001and ISO/TS 16949 standards Clock buffer evaluation boards Si53154 (four port) and the Si53159 (nine port) are also in compliance with the PCIe 3.0/2.1 and 1.1 applications. The devices offer a high performance clocking solution that is power efficient and both are managed by using SMBus signals. RS 7956758 and 7956751 both accept 100 to 210 MHz differential clock frequency ranges.
