CorDEX ToughPIX II Rechargeable Battery Pack A rechargeable battery Orange Edition compatible with ToughPIX II (RS 798-2176) and ToughPIX II Trident Edition.ToughPIX II uses a sealed battery pack comprising three NiMH cells and the relevant protection circuitry required of battery packs of this type. NiMh battery 1100mAhBatteries will lose their charge quite rapidly whether attached to the camera or notBatteries should always be charged immediately before use for maximum performanceBatteries will degrade more rapidly than standard batteries and must be replaced regularly to maintain camera performanceLow temperatures will seriously affect battery performanceAs with any battery pack, the ToughPIX II battery pack will lose the ability to retain a charge as they age either with time or with use. This is not a failure of the battery pack, this is a function of batteries as a whole Note If the fuse does blow, the voltage measured across the battery pins will show as Open Circuit. This is not a warranty item.
