Evaluation Board for CN0179 Circuit The EVAL-CN0179-PMDZ, from Analog Devices, is an evaluation board for the CN0179 circuit. The CN0179 circuit is a process control current loop transmitter. Suitable applications for the CN0179 include programmable logic controllers, distributed control systems, field instruments and smart transmitters.For evaluation of the circuit, the user requires the EVAL-CN0179-PMDZ, a system demonstration platform and a Pmod interposer board. These boards allow for a quick set up and evaluation of the CN0179 circuit’s performance. Equipment required for evaluating the CN0179 circuit:- PC with a USB port and Windows® XP, Windows® Vista (32-bit), or Windows® 7 (32-bit) - EVAL-CN0179-PMDZ circuit evaluation board - EVAL-SDP-CB1Z SDP evaluation board - SDP-PMD-IB1Z - CN0179 evaluation software - Agilent E36311A dual dc power supply or equivalent - Agilent 3458A multimeter or equivalent - A GPIB-to-USB cable adapter (only required for capturing analog data from the output and transferring it to the PC) 4mA-to-20mA Current-Loop Communication Current loop systems are used in electrically noisy industrial environments for sending analogue sensor data over long distances of 300m or more. ; Analogue Function Current Loop Transmitter; Kit Classification Evaluation Board; Featured Device CN0179; Kit Name CN0179;
