Tuff Seal Dome Cap Connectors provide the utmost ease of use, durability and corrosion-resistance. These liquid-tight, strain-relief connectors are offered in a wide variety of sizes and are UL and CSA approved. Features of Dome Cap Connectors include: Rated IP 68. Dome-shaped nut with gripping grooves for easy hand tightening. Available in a wide range of cord diameters. Choice of Pg or ISO Metric, M style or NPT threads. Black or gray colors with others available upon request. Dome Cap Connectors exceed NEMA 6 liquid tight specifications, are suitable for use underwater to 300 feet, feature a working temperature range of -30ºC to 80ºC, and can withstand water pressure up to 70 psi. Easy to install in either clearance or threaded holes, you just insert the cord and tighten the dome-shaped nut to create a tight seal and relieve any strain on the cable. These connectors are well suited for cables used with fiber optics, computers, control cabinets, instruments, medical/dental equipment, car washes, hot tubs and carpet cleaning machines. Dome Cap Connectors are also resistant to salt water, weak acids, weak alkalis, alcohol, esters, ketones, ether, gasoline, mineral oil, animal and vegetable oil.
