PPS has no known solvents below 392 F and is inert to steam, strong bases, fuels, and acids. Machines to tight tolerances. Offers minimal moisture absorption and very low linear thermal expansion coefficient. Inherently flame retardant. For structural applications in corrosive environments that require precise tolerances, or as an alternative to PEEK in lower-temperature environments. Tensile strength: 13,500 psi Continuous use temp.: 425 F Heat deflection temp.: 250 F
