Clamp-Style Rigid Couplings For applications in which alignment is critical, no backlash is desired, and flexibility is not required. Wrap around hard or soft shafts without marring; easy to install without having to disassemble machinery or components. Max. rpm: 4000. Utilize 8 vibration-resistant socket cap screws. Black oxide-coated steel couplings have alloy screws; stainless steel couplings have stainless steel screws. Ruland brand has opposing Nypatch antivibration hardware and honed straight bores for increased accuracy.
