UltraStart Programmed Start are for frequently switched applications where occupancy sensors are used. Soft start helps extend lamp life. Start up to 3 times faster than standard programmed-start ballasts. Provide the same energy savings as UltraMax ballasts and can improve lamp life by about 50% at 12 or more starts per day. Parallel mode operation keeps other lamps on the system working when 1 lamp fails. UltraMax Instant Start provide up to 44% more energy savings over standard electromagnetic T12 ballasts. Multivoltage control (MVC) adapts automatically to voltages from 108 to 305V, ande a thermal foldback circuit protects the ballast from overheating. Anti-striation control assures better light quality. Feature UL Type CC anti-arc rating. ProLine Instant-Start feature active power factor correction and parallel lamp operation to ensure continued operation when 1 lamp fails. High frequency, less than 10% THD. UL Listed.
