Motors are sealed for maximum protection against water intrusion by incorporating an O-ring seal in each endbell. A breather vent and flared shell eliminate condensation inside the motor. A triple-sealed shaft design protects bearings from moisture and contaminants. Windings are completely encapsulated, enhancing heat transfer capability and corrosion resistance. A potted conduit box with drain holes protects the lead wires and allows for drainage in any mounting position. A power connection kit is provided for the lead wires, ensuring waterproof connections. For use in highly corrosive wet/washdown applications including food and beverage processing, pharmaceutical production, and corrosive chemical processing. UL Recognized.
