Replaces microwave technology for safer sample preparations Complies with EPA Method 3546 soil extraction for organics Ideal for PAH, BNA, TPH, and PCB compounds The Soil-Cell® system simplifies the extraction of semi-volatile organic compounds in soil. The system meets the requirements to replace microwave technology with a HotBlock® unit and stainless steel extraction cells. Place weighed sample into stainless steel extraction cell and add solvent. Tighten lid and heat at 130°C for 30 minutes. Allow cells to cool, then filter—extract is now ready for concentration, cleanup, and analysis. Available for sale in the United States and India only What's Included: HotBlock unit, stainless steel soil extraction cells, one reference cell, two aluminum transfer racks, and power cord.
