For the most aggressive process applications Flowmeters are enclosed in in brushed 304 stainless steel case Unique design facilitates ease of maintenance Direct reading metric and English system scales Fluted or plain tapered tubes Detachable, clear 3⁄16"-thick polycarbonate front shield provides protection at maximum rated temperature and pressure. Easily read the graduated direct-reading scale. The interchangeable transparent scale plates mount directly on the front of the flowtube. Unique float stops allow easy cleaning-remove and replace the float without disturbing either the flowtube or the shield. Tube sizes 3, 4, and 5 are fluted; tube sizes 6, 8, and 9 are tapered with a stainless steel guide rod. Area flowmeters can work with both liquid and gas applications. Area flowmeters are simple to install and offer cost effective solutions for applications requiring visual indication of flow or flow rate. Davis Instruments offers variable area flowmeters for measuring liquids flow from 0.0002 mL/min to over 400 LPM and for gases from 0.02 mL/min to over 700 m3/hour. Area flowmeters are available in a wide range of materials including low cost acrylic and specialist options such as PTFE for aggressive media or stainless steel for high temperature and pressure applications.
