All-in-one moisture meter that combines dual testing methods Two measuring modes: built-in pins, or nondestructive pinless scanner Expand capabilities with optional electrodes These versatile meters are ideal for general contractors, building inspectors, floor testing, IAQ inspections, and building material applications. Designed to take basic readings or can be set up with specific job definitions by selecting a wood or nonwood type, temperature of material, and adjustable alarm status. Store up to 1400 readings and view statistics for each job number via optional software. Display the stored readings or show the average, standard deviation, minimum, and maximum values. Date/time stamp on all stored readings. TotalCheck Combination Meters feature two ways of measuring moisture: pin and scan mode. The pin mode is used to locate the exact source of moisture. The scan (pinless) mode provides a numerical reference scale that allows you to quickly scan large areas and to identify if a general problem exists. Enter the temperature of your material and the meter automatically corrects the moisture reading for 69 individual wood species, the meter also has a drywall scale that gives actual moisture content. MoistureCheck plus adds on a thermohygrometer to measure temperature and humidity, and calculates dew point, and GPP (Grains Per Pound). The thermohygrometer conforms to the ASTM F-2170 standard for measuring RH in concrete slabs. Meter can also be paired with a variety of electrodes, giving you the flexibility to measure drywall, flooring, insulation, and other materials.TotalCheck is a 3-in-1 meter that features two ways of measuring moisture pin and scan mode plus a thermohygrometer to measure RH, temperature, and calculate GPP (Grains Per Pound) and dew point. The SCAN (pinless) mode provides a numerical reference scale that allows you to quickly scan large areas and to identify if a general problem exists. The PIN mode is used to locate the exact source of moisture. The contact pins mounted on top of the meter provide 5/16" penetration for testing drywall and wood materials. Enter the temperature of your material and the meter automatically corrects the moisture reading. The pin mode reads moisture in wood over the range of 5 to 60%, and includes built-in corrections for 69 individual wood species. The meter also has a drywall scale that gives actual moisture content from a range of 0.1% to 6%. The thermohygrometer conforms to the ASTM F-2170 standard for measuring RH in concrete slabs. This ASTM standard has become recognized as the approved test for determining if a slab is ready for coating or floor covering The TotalCheck does not have built-in moisture measuring pins.
