Complete and preassembled chemical feed system where 24/7 use is required Shipped complete - "plug and play" installation is as simple as providing power and fluid connections Pump(s) mounted on a PVC based skid—choose from multiple configurations Preconfigured systems are designed for use in either pH or ORP applications Systems will include metering pumps from Walchem. Other manufacturers such as PulsaFeeder or LMI can easily be substituted by calling one of our Application Specialists. The skid is available in either single- or dual-pump configuration and is preplumbed for easy installation. All you have to do is to hook up the fluid and power connections. pH systems inject acid or base into your fluid system to maintain a desired set point. If a more accurate and reliable measurement system is needed, we offer an ORP controller based system that can also adjust the measured fluid by adding acid and/or base. Although these preconfigured systems are designed for use in either pH or ORP applications, any number of custom configurations is achievable. These redesigns can be accomplished with a simple phone call to our Application Specialists to ensure that all of your system needs are met.A metered pump comes in various styles including diaphragm pumps, gear pumps, peristaltic pumps and piston pumps. A metered pump can be used in a pilot plant, or for industrial, quality departments and OEM applications. A metered pump transfers media in two ways. It begins with the intake stroke where the inlet side of the pump is opened, the outlet side closed and liquid is pulled in to the pump cavity and ends when the outlet stroke where the inlet side of the pump is closed, the outlet side opened and liquid is forced out. A metered pump is used in applications where high accuracy dosing or movement of media is required, pumping needs to be controlled by computer, PLC, or flow proportioning, flow rates are GPH or less, high system pressure occurs or with high viscosity or slurry media.
