ACE Excel Super C18 3 micron and 5 micron UHPLC compatible columns use a proprietary bonding and end-capping process to produce a very rugged and robust octydecyl (C18) phase. ACE Excel Super C18 has exceptional performance over a wide pH range making it particularly useful in LC-MS applications. ACE Excel UHPLC columns are extremely robust even when operated at high pressures and temperatures. ACE Excel 3 micron and 5 micron columns are packed at extreme pressures in specialized hardware. They can be operated at pressures as high as 1, 000 bar. A specially engineered 2 micron inlet frit makes them less prone to plugging than conventional UHPLC columns. ACE Excel columns are compatible with all HPLC, UPLC and UHPLC instruments. ACE Excel Super C18 has selectivity similar to ACE Excel C18 but is somewhat more retentive. Super C18 has a broad operating pH range and has been shown to give superior peak shapes at both high and low pH. This is an excellent column to use in LC-MS applications. ACE Excel Super C18 is available in 2, 3 and 5 micron particles sizes. ACE Excel Super C18 has a surface area of 300 m2/g and a carbon load of 15.5%. ACE Excel Super C18 has a recommended pH range of 2-8 (working outside these ranges will reduce column lifetime). ACE Excel Super C18 is available in 2, 3 and 5 micron particles sizes.
