DAYTON
Dayton® submersible sump pump is self-contained and recommended for use in a sump or basin, which should be vented in accordance with local plumbing codes; the pumps are made to handle water that will not drain by gravity. Designed to pump rain water or light effluent, nonexplosive and noncorrosive liquids, and shall not be installed in locations classified as hazardous in accordance with the United States National Electrical Code (NEC), ANSI/NFPA 70. These pumps can be located in foundation drains in homes or buildings, parking lots, rainfall pooling in low land areas, manholes, retention ponds and truck docks. Never install the pump in a trench, ditch, or hole with a dirt bottom; the legs will sink into the dirt and the suction will become plugged.
