The TALON BRANDS biometric access control padlock allows lock access for up to 10 fingerprints. No more worries about losing the key, the key breaking or bending, and no more reproductions. Plus, since it biometric, no codes can be forgotten, copied, or remembered by former employees. The owner is the only person to add or remove another user. Easy to use, to unlock, open the fingerprint sensor door, press the standby LED, and swipe your finger. 2- to 3-second quick response opening for emergency needs. There is a 1 in a 1,000,000 chance that the wrong person can open a fingerprint lock. Guaranteed removal of user access. When a print is erased, it's gone from memory. Use indoors or outdoors, this weather-resistant lock is ideal for tool storage areas, toolboxes, gates, sheds, construction sites, childproofing, pool areas, weapons, utility boxes, mailboxes, garbage can enclosures, and boat trailers. No flashlight is needed to operate the lock in the dark. The LED standby button and the scanner provide all the necessary light. Powered by 2 AAA batteries, battery voltage is monitored during usage. When the energy level starts degrading, the standby LED glows green as a warning. Batteries will still work for approximately 100 cycles. Fingerprint files are retained even when the batteries are changed or removed. Sturdy steel and zinc lock body construction with hardened stainless steel shackle. Scanner cover helps prevent UV damage to scanner. Includes a mini screwdriver to remove the battery cover and the access panel.
