This LEESON motor is no longer Pool Pump Certified and does not come with external grounding lug. APPLICATIONS: Reliable, field proven, corrosion resistant with high overload capacities provided by service factor. FEATURES: Stator impregnated with extra heavy varnish system. Automatic overload protection High temperature copper magnet wire provides extended motor life. "Super Hush" flow-through ventilation system (exhaust shaft-end) standard. Vertical or horizontal mounting (drip-cover available). Ground provision. Die cast aluminum NEMA 56C face mounting flange, with cast iron bearing seat insert. Mechanical bearing lock-shaft-end, for longer life. Corrosion resistant rotating switch. High overload capacities provided by service factor. Neoprene shaft flinger Shaft Material: Keyed shafts are made of carbon steel. Threaded shafts are 416 stainless steel. Shafts are CW rotation, facing lead end. Bearings: 203 Double-sealed ball bearing, shaft-end; 203 Double-shielded ball bearng, switch-end. Shaft-end bearing is locked to limit axial movement of the shaft.
