To use, simply connect the four included sensors (or less if needed) to the measurement points to be tested. The VB500 will then calculate, acceleration, velocity and displacement from each of these channels and display this information on screen complete with indication of which reading is attached to which channel. The ability to measure four areas simultaneously is ideal for finding specific areas within machinery that is causing a fault; make sure you're not wasting time carrying out multiple tests on larger machinery by doing four tests simultaneously instead! This tester is also ideal for measurements over a time period thanks to its extensive memory. It can store up to 20M records on the included SD card and all information is stored directly in Excel format for quick and easy porting over to a PC. Information is also date and time stamped to make sorting incredibly simple and the rate at which the tester takes samples can be adjusted to 1, 2, 5, 10, 30, 60, 120, 300, 600, 1800 or every 3800 seconds. The Extech VB500 is ideal for use on motors, bearings, fans, pumps, rotating machinery, chillers and any other type of vibrating machinery that must be maintained to ensure peak efficiency.
