Low-frequency gauss meter
Rugged, impact-resistant case for field use Measure magnetic fields near equipment with frequencies from 30 to 400 Hz Determine the strength of magnetic fields generated by AC powered equipment in your home, lab office or plant site. Easily check the magnetic fields near high tension power lines, computer terminals, microwave ovens, cellular phones, power distribution areas and much more! This gauss meter is easy to use—simply turn the meter on, and slowly move toward the object under measurement until it is physically touched; different angles of approach should be tried in order to find the highest value of the magnetic field. The LCD display indicates the result with a resolution of 0.1 milligauss. Sampling time is 0.4 seconds. Compact design allows you to carry this gauss meter anywhere! Order the optional carrying case for added protection. Meter includes a flip-out stand for easier viewing and one 9 V battery; order replacement batteries separately.
